    Prader-Willi Homes of Oconomowoc (PWHO) is a 100% employee-owned organization, and we are searching for a compassionate individual to fill the position of Medical Administrative Assistant.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

     

    • Scheduling Resident Medical Appointments
    • Coordinate with Health Services Team to arrange transportation to and from appointments
    • Works closely with providers and the programs throughout the day to provide follow up information for residents regarding appointments, prescriptions, forms, and/or test results
    • Maintains Confidentiality with confidential files and information for residents
    • Works on special projects or other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    A successful candidate will excel at detail oriented tasks and demonstrate the ability to problem solve by thinking critically. This position requires at least 2 years of Administrative Assistance experience.  An Associates Degree, advanced training in the Administrative Assistant field, and experience working with scheduling or with doctor’s offices is preferred.  The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment and the ability to multi-task.
